Description
I have seen these on Pauly’s window in San Marco squares for many years and always admired them.
It’s a combination of best features. The great fashion designer Romeo Gigli started collaborating with Pauly at the end of the 1990s. The maestro of Compagnia Venezia Murano CVM, have followed Gigli’s designs perfectly.
The top is in gold leaf, followed by the glass pillar made of tight zanfirico canes.
These bright yellow and red zanfirico design is also repeated in hand opening on the base. Zanfirico is a twisted murrina used sideways.
The two sections in zanfirico are separated by a sculpted pomegranate fruits in gold leaf with a deep red seeds hot attached one by one.
The result is a splendid design. Where the glass virtuosism is conducted under the designer vision.
Proud to offer them. The great colors and the details needs to be shown in a bright area.
Impossible to assign the maestro who made them. It’s real hard to find a combination of skills in sculpting and roll-up piera technique. A company who had Barbini, Martinuzzi and Carlo Scarpa working for them.
