Description
Very sought after Ercole Barovier intarsi vase. Aquamarine and deep amber color. Made in a series of 15 for the exhibit of San Niccolo in Murano. Signed E. Barovier 1976 2/15. Heavy glass, hand opened. The colors create unique overlapping from the front and rear part, creating a green effect.

Evaluation assessment: I could find some with similar finish in past auctions. This is important because the value of these pieces, like pezzati, is also determined by the beauty of the piece, as well as the uniqueness and complexity of manufacturing. Quittenbau shows a bowl with similar colors and sold for the highest estimation. Wright sold one here and another here. Both cases sold at higher price than original estimation witnessing the good trend for these pieces.
