Exceptional and unique vase made by Pavanello. Large daisy Murrinas with red spots. The Murrinas are surrounded by clear glass, allowing you to see through the piece.
Base reads and other identifications, references: No label or signature on the base. Rated 5 stars because of the typical shape and work of Pavanello. I was able to find this vase on an old 1stdibs page which uses the identical murrina in a different pattern, which confirms the identification.
Evaluation assessment: In Murano, the fact of having worked at Pavanello is highly evaluated, like being staff of Barbini. The company never had international publicity and it’s known only to connoisseurs. The few pieces I found ended being sold at a higher price than estimation. This indicates a growing recognition for this maker and for unique murrina patterns. Rago sold one in 2011, almost 50% more than evaluation.
