This beautiful mid-century modern chandelier carries over 62 rectangular hand-poured glass elements. Made with the fracco technique. The same technique was used by Barovier and Toso for their deco chandeliers. The bottom of the drum shape is made with a circular ray grid effect.
The vertical elements are completely fencing with little overlapping the hardware with 12 bulbs for great light output.
To be used on ballrooms, hotel halls or large living rooms. A statement piece.
Identifications references: There are a few attributions online to Venini on this chandelier, I am keeping it as attributed to. White hardware, in general, goes not later than the 80s, when hardware became standard chrome.
Evaluation assessment: By complexity of manufacturing and quality of both hardware and glass. The piece is evaluated by the beauty and not by the attribution which I believe is a bit generic.
The chandelier will be complimentarily wired over to the buyer’s code. UL certification by UL registered lab upon request. Measure listed is for the central body, carries 40 cms 16″ of the chain. Extra links to be included upon request. With short chain can become flush mount.
