This beautiful chandelier carries over 80 discs made with the rullati technique.
The same technique is used to make Renaissance windows.
White glass Sommerso with clear glass, and then hand opened and flattened. Pontil mark still visible to assess the handmade quality versus cheaper pressed glass versions of this chandelier. Chrome hardware.
Identifications, references: There is a common attribution to Vistosi on this chandelier so diffused that I am keeping it as in the style of and attributed to. This is important to keep as this is widely known as The Vistosi chandelier in research.
Evaluation assessment: By complexity of manufacturing and quality of both hardware and glass. The piece is evaluated by the beauty and not by the attribution which I believe is a bit weak.
Chandelier will be complimentary wired over to buyer’s code. UL certification by UL registered lab upon request.
