Square sommerso vase, made by Cenedese under Da Ros art direction. Shows red inner color submerged by the distinctive uranium yellow that makes easy it to identify a Cenedese piece. Massiccio technique used also in the contrappunto series.
Base reads and other identifications, references: No signature on the base. Rated 5 stars because the quality of execution, distinctive color and technique makes it definitely Cenedese.
Evaluation assessment: The piece can be seen in other colors in auctions or listings. Quittenbaum sold a petrol blue one back in 2002. According to other Cenedese pieces the evaluation should be much higher.
