Mobile chandelier with solid brass metal structure. Murano glass elements.
Three arches that are balanced on a pivot center allowing swing and rocking movement.
No wires. The light bulbs in-between the glass elements are fed through the metal frame.
This version shows the Red and Yellow glass various combinations.
Beautiful over a table or in a living room seen from the corridor.
This chandelier was designed at the end of the 1990s. The idea was to bring to lighting the great designs and artist of the past. Uses the same principle of the Tizio lamp from Artemide.
Two separated solid brass frames are feeding in the bulbs in-between the glass elements.
Technical data. This chandelier is fed by a 12V direct current driver. Works with both 110 and 220 V. Top brand starter transformer made in Germany. The whole structure of the chandelier is made by a double solid brass frame with hooks and pivot centers that are assuring permanent contact, even when the chandelier starts rocking. Each end of arches has a double hand made Murano Effetre glass held on two points and amortized by a rubber holder. Each shade carries two or three LED bulbs pre-assembled. Small carries one G4 bulb and one MR11 down-light bulb, larger has two G4 bulb and one MR 11 down-light bulb. The sum of the six down-light MR11 gives to the chandelier a very good surface light so this chandelier is ideal over a dining table. The other nine G4 omni light brights the glass shade and are providing great ambiance light. Lumens output is around 2700, of which half is beamed down, resulting a good lux factor. CRI above 80. Kelvin 2700-3000. Top brand bulbs (Sylvania, Philps, Osram) with a dependable >30000 hours life, which in normal use means one generation. Bulbs are replaceable. Especially considering each bulb is not trapped into a shade and the continuous current feed.
Customization. I am using a selected color palette from Effetre. Ivory, oxblood red, deep orange, yellow, cobalt blue, Light pastel blue. I see the beauty of this chandelier with a dominant color and one spot of bright color on the lowest end.
Assembling. Each chandelier will be balanced prior to shipping so that there would not be a need for fine tuning the balancing of each arm.
